I discovered how to organize my favorites into Folders, which helps keep me organized, yet it has a big drawback. It doesn't work right when the navigation bar is collapsed. When you collapse the bar, favorites that are not in a folder will still display their title on a mouse hover. Those that are in folders will not. In addition, there is not a way to change the icon or color of the folders to help differentiate them. I will include an example below.
This is that my bar looks like when it is expanded.
This is what it looks like collapsed. Note the text that displays on mouse hover.
If you hover over the folders or the favorite icons within a folder, the title doesn't display. Is there a workaround for this? I prefer to keep the bar collapsed to maximize my viewing area, but have to expand it at times when I can't remember the difference between two icons. In terms of platform version we are using London.
Thanks.

Yes, they're there. One of my coworkers showed me how to do it months ago. I didn't realize it wasn't a publicized thing until I started researching for this post. I replied in another post with instructions on how to do it.

Hm, I searched around and I don't think this is out of box. Not on the community share either. I'm guessing a developer on your team custom made it somehow?
To that I say, please find out how they made it so we can all enjoy this amazing feature!!!!
The entire ServiceNow community would forever be in your debt.

I checked in my organization, and unfortunately the person who created it is no longer with the company.
