Hi,
A question I'm getting more often is 'Can we arrange favorites in folders?". I was not able to find a solution, so I think it's not possible, but... anyone with an idea how to do this?
Kind regards,
Gerard Wijnands

Hi Grerad,
I don't think it's possible to have favorites in folder, workaround is having Fav Icon common for those which you want in a Folder. This way it is easy to identify favorites of a particular type.

While added in Utah, the favorites are still quite buggy. You can "Create custom group" in your favorites, but you can't drag anything to it. And the bug which prevents re-ordering your favorites by drag and drop remains as well. The fix in this KB below used to get it working again, but as of Utah, that doesn't seem to be the case.

It puzzles me that basic functionality that should have been in day 1 specifications and with a major vendor (ServiceNow) has to be "fought for" in user forums. It would not be that far fetched that when a Favorite(s) feature is discussed for a product that there would be a set of function/features that would be assumed to be automatically present/inferred in the day 1 requirements of "Favorites".
To not have basic drag/drop, manual reordering, grouping/folders and sorting be included in any "Favorites" functionality is puzzling.
