ATF Tests execution nor recognized as valid activity so system times out every 5 minutes

We connect remotely via AVD.  Security Team uses a tool/utility that detects the activities on our laptops or PCs. When it detects that there is no valid activity going on or your PC is like in idle mode, your PC is automatically logged out.   This Security tool does not recognize the ATF Tests execution as a valid activity.  When you execute an ATF Test Suite that has 50 or more ATF Tests, you will encounter this timeout or logout a few times and you have to log back in as fast as you can to continue your test execution.  If you can do something on your PC before that timeout kicks in such as move the mouse or click on an area on your screen, that will be considered a valid activity and no timeout will occur. 

If you experienced the same thing, how did you manage to run your Test Suites continuously?  I was going to ask ServiceNow Support to maybe raise an enhancement request for me (since I don't have a ServiceNow Support account) to have an option in ATF Tool that will click on the screen every x minute (before 5-minute timeout) to avoid the timeout.

One of the biggest benefits from Test Automation "being able to execute tests unattended" got put down the drain by this Security Tool that does not see ATF Test execution is an activity going on in your PC. Therefore, currently we have to "babysit" the test execution and be able to do something else on our PC before we get logged out automatically after 5 minutes while tests are still running.

Install ATF Test Generator and Cloud Runner. The cloud runner does not need you to be logged in while test are running.

I'm not sure that they would be able to do your enhancement as ATF is just running in the browser and would not have control over your mouse. Plus I'm sure you security team would probably think that is as bad as installing a mouse jiggler to prevent a screen from locking.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

I will ask our Dev Team (from Infosys) as they control everything in ServiceNow app about the ATF Test Generator and Cloud Runner.  Are these options supposed to be free or do they require additional subscription? Thanks
