Configuring List Layout Not Saving The Change

Hi Community
I am trying to configure the list layout on ServiceNow, I am moving all the columns I want from the available section to the selected section and save the change. However; the list layout reverts back to the previous setting. I have noticed the below warning message (You have personalized this list with the list mechanic.
You will not see changes made here until your personal list is reset to column defaults.)
Please assist.

Is the "existing field" table and that "different table" some kind of relation ?

It may be a little too late but I had the same problem and fixed by clicking the Personalize List Gear icon and then clicking on the bottom left - Reset to column defaults
