In dashboard can we have a filter condition to generate dynamic reports on based of condition we select? for ex: We created dashboard for incident and can we change assignment group and generate reports for same. suppose my assignment group is Database and we want to generate a report for number of incidents opened when assignment group is Database.

At Geneva you have Interactive Filters which do exactly what you want, see :-

You can also use the dynamic filters when creating the reports. For your example you can add a filter to the report that says Assignment group - is (dynamic) - One of My Groups.
Then when the report is generated it uses the groups the currently logged in user is a member of to filter the list. So you would see incidents assigned to the Database group and if someone from the Help Desk group (if you had such a group) logged in, they would only see incidents where the assignment group is Help Desk. Dynamic filters were added in the Dublin release so they are usable if you aren't on Geneva yet.
