Why does Dictionary Overrides related list go missing in all custom fields created on a table? I created few custom fields on the Release table. On all the fields, Dictionary Overrides related list is not visible.
NOTE: Configure--> Related lists shows 'Dictionary Overrides' as Available.
I have my own doubts if 'Dictionary Overrides' is a feature available for OOTB fields only?
Please suggest!

Hi Anish,
Dictionary override would only appear if a field is from parent table. For e.g. phone number field on incident form is field on incident table & hence no Dictionary override exists while Assignment Group is actually a field from Task table but from Incident form & hence Dictionary override exists.
Thanks,

Hi Jaspal, If we have a custom field created on incident table and if the label needs to be changed and if dictionary overrides are not available how do we change the label?
I tried via configure dictionary and also via configure label options.
In configure label the label is updated. but same is not reflected on incident table. Also using Dictionary it shows me the old name even though I updated the label name to new and saved.
Any suggestions on this please?
Thanks,
Sumana

yes that is correct, you need to create individual reocrds for the dictionary override on the custom field created on the base table.
