Difference between "cross-scope access" and "restricted caller access"

Hi all,

I have difficulties to understand, how both interact or complement each other. Is "restricted caller access" just a more granular of access definition? If so, why is there cross-scope access?
Can somebody please explain a little?

Thanks in advance.

Seb

I have found a resource that explaines RCA quite well. Look for this short web based training on SABA:

find_real_file.png

Also, I got in contact with a person internally and he sent me this table which makes it clearer as well:

find_real_file.png

Just to add, Cross scope is used primarily for a high level of access like read, write or execute API on scope when the run time access is tracked (not mandatory) whereas RCA is specific level of access primarily used in HRSD eg a Widget need to access data from a script include of differnt scope then it need to be allowed in RCA table
