Field Encryption Module is missing

I am configuring Column level encryption, but to configure it I need to first create Field Encryption Module. But it is not appearing in my case. See below screenshot. Any idea É

I am using Vancouver PDI, and CLE plugin is already activated.

Hi @Cameron13 ,

Because 'Encryption Support ' determines access to encrypted data the security_admin users are the ONLY ones able to create encryption contexts and grant an encryption context to a user by granting the user the associated role.

In order to access the encryption modules, it will be necessary to activate the 'security_admin' role using the 'Elevate Roles' functionality.

I am elevated to security_admin role with the CLE plugin installed, but this field encryption module option is still not available to me. Why would this be and how do I install or access this field encryption module then?

Hi @Cory H @Cameron13 ,

Search for the (Field Encryption Modules) in the sys_app_module table list and just add the security_admin or admin role.

@Community Alums This worked, thank you! I can now access the module. When accessing the module, it gives me an error that rows have been removed and I do not have the option to create a new module. I went to Access Controls to see if I could grant rights there, but it also gives me the same error. The only field I can modify on Access control is the report view for the cryptographic module. See picture below.

do you have any ideas on what is needed to remove these constraints?

Thank you for your help!
