What does g_form.$private does?

I have seen 

g_form.$private.events.on("change", onChange);
kind of usage. What it does actually?

the only information i can give u is client scripitng API that is no longer in use.

 

It was used on portal for the events incase of onCHange or onSubmit of the form.
