Help with UI builder and data retention

I have created a new page in UI builder and also a new table called u_key_contacts. How do I make it so that data entered into the input boxes is saved on the form and displayed in the newly made table? Any advice would be great

Is there a reason that you haven't used the form component itself, and pointing it to your table?

No, there is no reason. Is that better to use? Could I have data being entered into it from the workspace and kept?

Yes, in a most basic case you need the form component and action bar on your page, and that will give you a full form and the ability to save to the database
