How can a default dashboard be set for a user?

Upgraded to Tokyo and converting homepages to dashboards. Want to set the newly converted dashboard as the user's landing page. What user preference is this? If it's set as a user preference, would they always land on that page or would it display the last user dashboard?

Just to let you know - we tried this and it doesn't work as expected, it seems to ignore this even if they set it.

  I have also same question , I'm in Tokyo version,  but in user preferences i don't find current start page itself. kindly can you guide me on this. and @Michael _PHL please share how if its worked for you, kindly share the procedure that how we can make a particular dashboard should be default dashboard for all the users when they logged in to the instance.

Hi,

Make sure these 2 system properties are set to "true":

glide.ui.polaris.experience

glide.next_experience.user_selected_landing_page_enabled

If it is still not working, I would suggest you create an HI support incident.

I realize I'm posting a year later but I'm a new system admin on Vancouver and none of the knowledge I'm finding anywhere matches.  In this document you mention 2 properties that don't exist.  I'm going to try creating them on my dev instance and testing it out but is there a way to have users be able to pick their default landing page/dashboard/experience page in the vancouver release?  Does anyone have that info?

Hi Jeffrey,

You may try this on your PDI instance first.

Do "sys_properties.list" to list the system properties.

Use the new button to add the 2 new properties:

glide.ui.polaris.experience

glide.next_experience.user_selected_landing_page_enabled
