Hi Mohd, can I ask what the reasons/Use Cases are here? I feel this is greatly important to answering your question. Is your company doing asset management to the extent that through physical purchases, things received are loaded via Asset management, and later discovered (identifying on something unique like Serial Number during discovery)?
Generically speaking, discovery will create things like VMs, application servers, etc. Your less-tangible-than-physical things in the CMDB.
How are you wanting to differentiate discovery being the source vs other sources and then what to do with Status?
