How Do I Duplicate a Sub Project in Services Now's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool?

I am utilizing the Paris version of Service Now's project management tool. My project involves remodeling several different building locations and I am trying to structure my project such that I have a main project and, within it, each location remodel becomes a "sub project". Within each sub project, there were be tasks that need to be completed for each remodel.  I found that I was able to create one sub project and add all of the needed tasks within that sub project.  I would now like to COPY  or duplicate that sub project so that I have multiple  copies of the same sub projects to utilize by location.  I know that I can copy projects and tasks. Is there any way to copy a sub project so that I do not have to create and build a new one each time start a new location?

Hi

  1. In the Project or Project Task form, right-click the header bar and select Copy partial project.
  2. In the Task field, select a project task or project to copy. By default, projects begin with PRJ and project tasks begin with PRJTASK.
  3. Enter a Name for the new project or task.
  4. Click OK

Kind regards

Thank you Maik! As it turns out these instructions worked perfectly in the live environment!  I was originally working in a sandbox environment and this feature was not enabled.  Thank you for helping me!
