How to disable “Use Now Assist...” icon for specific users?

Hi experts! Quick question: A few users would like to remove the “Use Now Assist to…” icon that appears in the Work notes and Additional comments fields.

The icon doesn’t appear for me, but when I impersonate the affected users, I can see it consistently across different browsers. They no longer want this option to be displayed.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable or hide the Use Now Assist icon specifically for certain users?

I’m assuming there must be some user-specific configuration, role, or setting controlling this, since it only appears for a small number of users.

Any ideas on where I should look?

It's not tested, but you can try removing "now_assist_panel_user" role for that specific user whom you want to restrict using .

I already tried that, but unfortunately it didn’t work and the icon is still appearing for the user. I also cleared the browser cache and cookies, but the issue persists. 😞
