How to display a variable's label instead of its value on catalog task?

I have a question on how to display a variable's label instead of its value on catalog task?

Here's what I see on the catalog task, it's showing support group's value, instead of its label name or display name:

Here's what I put on the flow to have it displayed:

It needs to see the display name like on the request:

Any suggestions? Thoughts?

A user is creating the request through service hub portal, and they can see the displayed support group name, not sys_id. As I mentioned earlier, sys_id is shown on catalog task and RITM only, when assigne is going through the workspace to view the task. I don't think the assignee can view the task in the portal.

Yet another reason why I don't use Flow Designer.

If it's on the Request form as a Reference Field, then on the Catalog Task as a variable to display on the task, then it should automatically show like it does on the Request form.  You shouldn't have to do anything to make a variable from the Request form display the same way on a Catalog task.

If it shows "Corporate Apps Support - Non Sourced" on the request form, then when you add the variable to the Catalog Task, it should show the same thing and not the sys_id....at least that's how Workflow Editor works.

Yes I don't understand why it's not working on the catalog task, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who has this type of issue. I'm trying to see if there's a workaround. If not, then I might use a workflow. Thanks for the suggestions.
