How to include catalog items meta to be searchable from global search from portal

Hi,

 

we have added Meta tags to the catalog item, and when we search this meta from the ESC portal OOB global search we are not getting any results

can anyone help me with the steps to include meta tags to the search bar

Just ensure your catalog is having category.  It will work.

There are few things to be considered:

1. Verify Catalog and categories are added to the catalog item

2. Add metatags

3. Taxonomy topic is added or not please verify

4. AI search is enabled or not

5. After all these correctly then you have to reindex the tables.

6. To reindex the tables search in applictaion navigation  "ais_datasource.LIST" and open the catalog item.

7. You can Index all tables and index selected tables.

8. If the ingestion state is not starting verify any events are scheduled and ready state you can delete.

This is how you can debug this.

its like when we search with Meta tag, im not able see the catalogs in the Suggestions
