Ignore Mandatory Evaluation for Order Guides not working on Service Portal

Hi Guys,

I have an issue where 'Ignore Mandatory Evaluation' is not working on Service Portal. Because of these the items with mandatory variables are automatically included in the order guide when accessing from Service Portal and I am not able to proceed without including them even though some of them do not have to be included.
Here are the things I checked:

- Made sure 'Ignore Mandatory Evaluation' is set to True on the Order Guide

- Made sure 'Validate mandatory fields when switching tabs in 'Choose Options' section of Order Guides' system property is toggled off, i.e glide.sc.guide.tab.validate is set to false

Any thoughts?

Alternate solution I did was autopopulate that mandatory field when the item comes as part of order guide
