Images disappearing for KB Article Imports

Hi Everyone!

I am trying to import articles into our KB and whenever I import an article (word document that already has images formatted within the document) the article imports but the images are taken out of the article and attached as image attachments. I then have to open each attachment and paste the images back into the article.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

We are on Istanbul, Patch 3a, we are also using Chrome/Mozilla browsers to import.

Probably it's a proper issue that will require a ticket through the support.


Someone else had the same problem 6 months ago

On the other hand there is another possibility.



if these pictures on the source instance are embedded, the only way correct the way that these knowledge articles are being exported such that the embedded pictures aren't as attachments would be to go through each of these articles to change how they are coded, either on the source instance or on the XML document after export.
