Invalid 'Target table' selected on the Table Transform Map record.

I am getting below error while creating Transform maps(from Global) on my scoped table.

Invalid 'Target table' selected on the Table Transform Map record. The 'AAA' table is in application 'BBB', but the current application is 'Global'. The 'Target table' field can only select 'BBB' tables with read, create, and update access enabled.

I have given the required access at table level. also created CRUD records in cross-scope privileges but not sure why it is still throwing this error.. any ideas?

Hi,

I don't see any documentation for this issue and it is happening on PDI as well.

In general we create transform  maps for scoped tables in the Application scopes only. So the workaround for your issue is to create transform map in scoped application.

Also if this is happening on your customer environment then you can raise a case with ServiceNow to get solution on Hi portal (support.servicenow.com).

Also suggest an enhancement of Idea Portal https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=ideas_list&sysparm_module_id=enhancement_requests.

Thanks,

I am having the same issue in San Diego.  Would love to try and find a solution to this.

Just to reiterate the problem.  I have a table in another application that I am trying to transform data into from a different application.

Invalid 'Target table' selected on the Table Transform Map record. The 'Table A' table is in application 'App A', but the current application is 'App B'. The 'Target table' field can only select 'App A' tables with read, create, and update access enabled.

FYI, I have opened a ticket with support and it appears that they have confirmed that this is an "unexpected error when doing cross scope application access."  Sounds like a bug.  I will update when I hear more.
