Issue with MFA Setup: Initial Registration Screen Not Displaying for Some Users

I have implemented MFA, but sometimes the initial registration screen for the authentication app, which should appear when users first log in, does not display. Upon investigation, it appears that if users have either an email address or a mobile phone number on file, the initial app registration screen is skipped, and they are directly taken to the MFA code input screen. For users without either an email address or a mobile phone number, the app registration screen does appear.

Hi Do we know if this is still an issue, i have a user who has been given a new mobile phone, ive disabled the MFA removed fully but not receiving the initial registration MFA function. Auto goes to MFA code input screen.

Hi,
I'm facing a very similar issue and wondering if you've managed to find a solution.
In my case, after disabling and fully removing MFA settings for a user who received a new mobile phone, the system still skips the initial MFA registration screen and directly prompts for the MFA code input instead.
Did you happen to find a workaround or a fix for this behavior?

Hi Hope your well i have a work around for this as this only seems to happen to a a few users and has not happened for some time.
If you set system property glide.webauthn.enabled to TRUE this will force it for the user once set up revert the property back to FALSE.
