Issues with notification preview function

Wondering if anyone has experienced something similar or has any information on this occurrence.

I have a flow designer record that is preparing an event which then triggers a notification. My notification is populated by a mail script and is configured to send when the event created by the flow triggers. All of the composite parts of my process work, however when I create a demo event and try to use the "preview notification" function with that demo event, the preview body of the notification is blank and doesn't render any content.

I have tested the flow and triggered an event - my email is in the outbox and renders as expected, it's literally just the notification preview that isn't working.

Does anyone have any information as to why this is or what causes it?

I don't think I've ever seen that.
However, it might please you to know you can trigger notifications directly from Flow.  In my experience this is every bit as good or better than firing events.
Made a video on it here:

Hey Robert, thanks for the video - but I'm using an event as I have multiple bits of data I'm passing to my email script as a JSON object via the event parms, hence triggering the notification in this way.

I've got everything working, as I say, I just thought it was odd that the preview notification function wouldn't render my email correctly.

Hi @Harper ,

Have you tried using the Existing Event one (See the screenshot below). I think its working for me.
