Knowledge Article Template - Auto Populate Details Section

Hello,

I am trying to create a Knowledge Template that our users can use to create KA's in our platform. I would like to see if it is possible to pre-populate the Details section of the template with some information in the HTML body section such as an Introduction Header/Goal of this Document so that when users go to create a KA from the template, that shows up in the Details.

Is this possible? I was unable to find this when looking in the layout/design.

Thanks!

Hi,

I would recommend using templates: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/geneva-servicenow-platform/page/administer/form_administration/co...

you can paste HTML directly in the article body as below:

***If Correct/Helpful please take time mark as Correct/Helpful. It is much appreciated.***

Are you using the Templates feature?

The issue I am having is we put these fields on the template, use the template, and then once the article is created, I am unable to see the fields. Please see the attachments. Is this a UI_policy issue or a configured view issue?

Thanks!
