Migrate the Knowledge Management from Lotus Notes to Service Now

Has anyone successfully migrated Knowledge Management from Lotus Notes to ServiceNow? What would be the best approach for this migration, and what conversion tools are recommended for migrating from NSF to other formats? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Ram113 , Personally I have never migrated knowledge management from Lotus Notes to ServiceNow. But I think I can guide you in some way.

I think when migrating knowledge from any platform to ServiceNow, you need to work on assessment and planning of the whole knowledge management(includes articles, document types, templates, workflows.) Most import thing is the conversion of the specific format from one platform to another. (try looking into Transend migrator, it specifically helps migrating data from lotus notes to other systems)
Also, there is a thread on specifically on Lotus notes to SN migration. Go to this to check it out. https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-forum/lotus-note-migration-to-servicenow/m-p/1509398.
Also you can check out this for more information on  Lotus notes apps to ServiceNow. https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-blog/move-your-lotus-notes-apps-to-the-now-platform/b...

Mark this answer if it helps. Good luck!

Thank you! I had already reviewed those links, but they don't provide much detail on what I'm looking for.

Best approach would be a skilled LotusScript Domino admin to write a procedure that converts each NSF file to a HTML file. Because NSF is proprietary, you either need the skillset to do the conversion within the tool or pay for conversion software

Hi there, I would recommend to export to CSV as well as export of attachments from the Domino Documents. This is something that can be done relatively easily with MigratorPlus by Adopteq. https://adopteq.com/dominotransformationsolutions/migrator-plus/
