What's the difference between Now Experience and Next Experience?

Did the term Next Experience replace Now Experience?

Or does "Next Experience" only refer to the new "Polaris" redesign of the Classic UI?

This video from ServiceNow seems to answer my own question.

  • "Next Experience" = "Now Experience" = a generic term for all the new web component based user interfaces, as Chuck said in the comment I quoted above
  • "Next Experience UI" = Polaris = the new purple platform UI (classic UI) in San Diego

Not very clear.  I'm going to keep calling the latter Polaris to avoid confusion.

t has nothing to do with now experience

Now Experience is how to use Now UI framework and its Now platform (App Engine Studio)tools  to development web based application like Now Workspace, Web pages, catalog item, workflow and mobile apps.   The following artcile can give you more information - Now Experience

In the comments on this TechNow, @Chuck Tomasi says "Next Experience is the name that encapsulates all the new desktop UI experience technology. The legacy (UI16) experience is being updated/refreshed to use the newer technologies. Next Experience is the new name for Now Experience."  So it does have something to do with Now Experience after all?  So confusing.

No as I said earlier both are two different things.in future Servicenow may have plans to integrate it but currently they are two ver different functionality Also no servicenow dcument says next is the new now exp
