List all out of box permissions/roles in servicenow along with their significances.
Like in BMC Remedy, we used to have Incident user who can submit/view/create Incidents and update only his support group incidents.

Thanks, link was helpful
Don't we have any concept of Permissions in SNow? We have functional roles also in Remedy. Do we have anything related to groups specific permissions?

Hi Swathi,
You can use http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Base_System_Roles#gsc.tab=0
or you can go to Roles under system security form your navigation bar form your instance it will take you to the roles table there you can see all the roles with description.
PS: Hit like, Helpful or Correct depending on the impact of the response
Thanks,
Sai.

Permissions? there is a concept called ACL's in service now. Please check this link
http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Using_Access_Control_Rules#gsc.tab=0
Let me know if that is what you are asking for.
PS: Hit like, Helpful or Correct depending on the impact of the response
Thanks,
Sai.
