Dear all,

I have just discover how to sue the integration hub in order to conenct to 3rd party web service provider.
Month ago i was integrating Jira Service Desk with Servicenow using simply Rest Outbound message.

Does it means that Jira intergation would have been better to be used with integration hub and flow action ?

What are use of simple Rest outbound message then compare to Integration hub ?

Thnaks for clarification

For Jira, there is already an IntegrationHub spoke on store that you can use. I would say, all other things being equal, you should default to building your integrations using IntegrationHub. Here are some benefits:

  • Consolidates multiple Now Platform automation capabilities into a single environment so process owners and developers can build and visualize business processes and integrations from a single interface.
  • Extends Flow Designer content to integrate business processes with external systems.
  • Promotes business process automation by enabling subject matter experts to develop and share spokes with flow designers.
  • Provides natural-language-descriptions of integration logic to help non-technical users understand triggers, actions, inputs, and outputs.

In addition to these, the more IH spokes you've built the more valuable IH becomes.
