Progress Controller was left in running state on startup

Guido Bernuetz

I got the message "Progress Controller was left in running state on startup" in progress worker table. The job behind was cancelled after 5 hours by the system. btw: the job takes 5-6 hours and runs mostly successful in the days before.

Does anybody know this message? What does it mean?

I am not a helpful hunter.
I will always try to give a meaningful and valid answer.

We got the same error when trying to run a transform map on a fairly large dataset (14k records).  We've done much larger datasets (70k+ records) using the same transform map without getting the error.

Just updating the thread:
We are receiving the same error cancelling the progress worker when running a fix script. Progress worker cancelled after running for 5 hours.
The same fix script ran successfully completing the progress worker previously.
