Remove Knowledge Article feedback section

There is an article on this problem (Remove Knowledge Feedback section ) but it dates from more than 5 years ago. I tried to add the property as suggested in one of the replies but it doesn't change anything. Possibly things have changed since V3. Anyway, I think that being able to remove this feedback section is valid because our articles are just informative, no feedback is required and we don't follow up on feedback, so removing the section seems to be the thing to do.

That appears to be Knowledge v2 based on the screen shots. Check and see if you have knowledge v3 plugin activated (System Definition> Plugins.)

However, don't break your head over this. I will log it as an issue with our service provider; After analysis they may well escalate it to your people and maybe it will lead to a Problem record(?).

In fact I was overlooking something. As you know, 2 pairs of eyes see more than 1...Kevin Krol from the helpdesk of our provider saw almost immediately that there was a typo in the name of the property that I added to the sys-properties table. I hereby confirm that the solution of that older topic is still working. So, in order to remove that feedback box you have to:



1. Open the sys_properties table by entering sys_properties.list in the filter of the navigation pane.


2. Hit new and create a new property with name 'glide.knowman.show_kb_feedback'


3.Set the value of the property to false


4. Save

Interesting. I'm curious why that doesn't appear on the Knowledge> Properties page. It should IMHO.
