Hi All,
We have a requirement to rename the instance URL from https://<<clientname>>.service-now.com to their own domain name like https://<<clientname.com>>. How can we achieve this functionality and what would be the impact on Users and Notifications.
Regards
Dinesh

Hi Dinesh,
This cannot be done. It's a complete change in the domain name i.e. website name.
It is as good as you are saying that you want to change www.google.com to www.yahoo.com
You can modify the email notifications to display the updated domain name but you would still need to use <clientName>.service-now.com to use ServiceNow functionality.
Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks

Hi Dinesh,
Redirection should be possible when somebody clicks on the link. you can use anchor tag href attribute for the same

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but could you not use the Custom URL solution? This doesn't rename the instance, but gives you the URL you desire.
