Security Center Thresholds Notification is not triggered

Hi,
for test purposes, I have added a threshold to “Impersonations” in the Security Center that should be triggered if there is more than 1 impersonation. However, no event is triggered and the mail is never sent. I have also tried it with other Security Center Metrics but without success. Do you know what could be the reason for this?
