Hi Experts
I’m working on a ServiceNow integration project and need some guidance.
I have a catalog item in ServiceNow that creates a user. The requirement is that when the catalog item is submitted, the data should automatically be sent to a SQL Server database in the customer’s environment.
What is the recommended approach to achieve this? Should I use a MID Server with JDBC integration, or is it better to expose a REST API endpoint from SQL Server and call it from ServiceNow? Also, how can I handle security and error logging in this setup?
Any best practices, sample configurations, or lessons learned from similar implementations would be greatly appreciated.
