I'm trying to restrict access of catalog items (record producers) and categories to certain groups. For that purpose I am using the "Available for group" related list.
For some reason it does not work.
I created a test user which does not belong to any group. This user still can see all categories and items.
Does this work at all? What am I missing?
Thanks,
Heiko
PS: I decided to use groups instead of roles in order not to cause any additional license costs for the ESS users.

It seems to be working now. Not sure what the issue was, maybe cache, or maybe because the groups I was using still contained the role I used to restrict the access before.
Now it works instantly, as soon as I add/remove a user from one of the groups the access to the catalog item / category gets granted / revoked.

I'm still on Dublin. User Criteria does not exist there. I have to use what SNOW calls entitlements.
Thanks,
