ServiceNow script to get catalog items based on matching user criteria

Hello team,

I am curious to know how 'Available For' and 'Not Available For' is implemented in ServiceNow catalog items.

Basically, I am looking for the script which will return me the list of catalog items matching user's user criteria. 

I would like to avoid the multiple API calls. Does anyone know efficient way of doing this?
