Hello,
As we need to display a dashboard on a big-screen TV during the day (~12h max a day), I was wondering if it possible to set a user's timeout session value using anything ? I know the default session timeout is 30min for every user, and that is why I'm asking this question.
I already checked some Forum Questions but I wasn't able to find what I want.
Thank you in advance ! 😁

Hi Dorian,
I had this same requirement, and the best solution I found to this was browser-based, not instance-based.
I'd suggest installing a plugin on your browser (used on the big screen) that reloads the page say every 20 minutes.
https://chromewebstore.google.com/search/reload%20tabs?hl=en-GB&utm_source=ext_sidebar
Also, out of curiosity, which dashboard are you showing on the screen? Is it custom or store-downloaded?
Best
Hasan

Hello Hasan,
Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I didn't think about it and I don't know why, it seems to be the best solution, I agree !
I'm not sure to understand what you mean by "store-downloaded" (the french person I am isn't that good in english ahah), but the dashboard is composed of graphs on the Incident and Req Item table.
Again, thank you for your time and consideration.
Dorian
