Sort by (A-Z) option is not working in the portal

Hi,

When I am trying to sort my items by selecting Sort by (A-Z), it is not showing me the result in the correct order.

How can we correct this error?

can you please go to the table "sc_request" and sort there the column "number"? My assumption is, that you will see the same order as in the portal. The reason: In table "sc_request" the "number" column is the "display" value and therefore the system sorts by number ascending.
