Sticky notes not saving on dashboards

We have created a dashboard and have placed a Sticky Notes gadget at the top for users to leave messages on, once the page refreshes it clears what has been entered and returned to the default text.

Is there some setting we need to enable to allow it to be editable? or some method of saving the changes?

O my....well that's completely useless. Who has time to do that every time they need to make a reminder note.

Hi , I came up with a solution for this. Instead of using sticky notes in the dashboard. We have placed Dynamic content blocks in the Dashboards.

'content blocks < New Dynamic content’

Which can be reconfigured when needed, like sticky notes.

Can you please share the code you've added to dynamic content? Appreciate your help.

Hi Varun,

No code required for this.

Its a widget like sticky notes. To add this widget go to Add content --> Content Blocks --> New Dynamic content

The widget will be having wordings like "Click here to configure this reusable Dynamic Content block." (after it get added)

So, click on the link, it will open the widget form. In that fill the Dynamic content box with the text which you would paste in sticky notes just in between the jelly tags and save the widget after giving it a name.

This problem occurs only in Responsive dashboard. For Non responsive dashboard, you can use sticky notes itself.
