When a Task changes from Open, to Work In Progress or Pending, then to Closed, the Activity log displays the change(s) in the Task State and provides the date/time when the action occurred. I have not been successful in reporting on that State change and subsequent date/time.
Any ideas on how I can report the State change and time stamp?

Hi Larry,
You might want to look in to Metrics to track changes of that nature.

Thank you Chuck for your response.
I may have limitations on my level of access. I do not see Metrics or any option to install the plugin.

Hi Larry,
the feature has been a standard plugin on new and upgraded systems for years (a decade if my math is corrrect.) Check if you have the menu option "Metrics". If not, go to System Definition> Application Menus and see if it has been disabled (active=false.) Sometimes customers turn off things they don't need initially and forget about them.

Hi Larry,
itil_admin,metric_admin is the role required to view the application menu. Hit the below link and make sure application menu is active on your instance by replacing it with YOURINSTANCENAME
