The approvals are not triggering through flow designer.

I have a request to trigger approvals based on the condition. I have created a flow set the approval conditions and I have set an action called ask for approval. But in the flow execution the conditions what ever i have mentioned those conditions are executing false and it is not creating any approvals. Can anyone help me on this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. I checked your flow, and the overall design looks good . The issue seems to be with the “If Manager approval needed” condition. Since this condition is evaluating to false, the Ask for Approval on Requested Item step is not getting triggered, which is why no approvals are being created.

You can check a few things:

• Make sure the catalog variable used in Manager approval needed is coming correctly from the Get Catalog Variables step. Sometimes the variable value is empty or mismatched (Yes/No, true/false), which causes the condition to return false.
• Verify that the Requested For user has a manager and the manager field is not empty.
• Check the Flow Execution details in Flow Designer to see what value the condition is receiving at runtime.
• For testing, try removing the condition temporarily and directly add Ask for Approval with a test approver. If approval gets created, then the issue is definitely in the condition logic.

Once the condition evaluates to true, the approval and wait condition will work as expected.
