We are newly trying to set up our CMDB dashboard and remediation rules. Starting with the Staleness metric for a single class to test, as we know it will need to delete over 400,000 stale CIs.
The job came back with what looks like a list of Stale CIs, but doesn't generate a STAL task
The really weird part is, the Last Evaluated On date is from the previous week
We have found out that the STAL job was running and deleting the CI per the remediation rules.
The remediation rule is set for manual, so I'm not quite sure why it is deleting the CIs without action by us.
It may be useful for others that land here to know exactly where the setting is to enable/disable the Health Metric Tasks. It's in the same place as the 'Failure Threshold' that Richard pointed out.
