Hi Everyone,
Please guide on the following requirement:
- Create a Time sheet Policy where users of that group work 3 days a week(any days) and 12 hrs a day .Max hours per week = 36.
- How to configure if the above group does over time(out of 36 hrs a week or more then 12 hrs a day) .As based on the over time certain allowances are given.
- Is there a way to add a group to time sheet Policy instead of selecting each user to the bucket.
TIA

Hi,
Time sheet policies are use to set policies for users and it is expected users to adhere to policy while filling timesheet.
We cannot define rules or policies to force user to fill x amount of hours and highlight if user does over time.
With the help of Time sheet policy you can set limit of 36 hours per week and 12 hours for a day.
By applying this policy to users they will not be able to submit policies with more than 12 hours per day and more than 36 hours per week (these are highest limits they can submit timesheet).
- Is there a way to add a group to time sheet Policy instead of selecting each user to the bucket?
Answer -> No there is no way way create timesheet for Groups, at a time user can be mapped to only one time sheet.
There is a field on User table 'Time Sheet policy' which get populated when we add any user under Time sheet using slush bucket.
Thanks,

Hi Anil,
Thank you for the response.
I created the policy as above and my question - is there a way we can address overtime for this 12 hr shift if not via timesheet policy?
This is to track who works beyond their shift hrs/days to compensate. Please suggest alternatives to achieve this.
TIA

In addition to the above steps , I would like to add that when in Administration>users find Angelique Schermerhorn , right click on users page configure>form layout and add Time sheet policy to the selected list and save. You will see the time sheet policy has been added , just click on time sheet policy which is empty for the Angelique Schermerhorn user in the dropdown list search and add APJ time sheet policy and click ✔️ to add . save and validate the task.
