UI actions and Policy

I want to create a new Ui action on the incident form

When I click on it, the Incident state should be set back as "New"  (New means the state)

 

This UI action will only be available when the state is not "New"


I HAVE TRIED CREATING A NEW UI ACTION FROM THE FILTER NAVIGATOR, BUT I DO THINK IT'S A VERY COMPLEX APPROACH TO GO WITH. ANYONE KNOW'S HOW WE CAN ACHIEVE THIS TASK?

When you create UI Action please make insert false.

2nd part:

When you click on UI action it must go to new, but practically once an incident moved to In progress, there is no use case that we need to bring it in New state.

 

If still you want to do, please check the UI action , Revert to New on Change.
