Unable to download MID Server files from my instance.

Getting below error, do anyone know why we are getting this error?

Able to download below Windows (ZIP), but it does not have installer.bat file required for the installation

Hi Jyotsna,

 

I think the process has been changed. When it says installed. Try to change the configuration file and restart the MID server service. Then you will be seeing MID server in ServiceNow instance.

 

Here is the file where you will have to change the configuration.

Change MID Server configuration file security schemes

 

No need to worry if the installation is with non-GUI.

I followed the doc link shared and got below response after I started the service

This suggests that the MID server has communicated with the ServiceNow instance and filled in the keypairs.mid_id value. But MID server record is not created in servicenow.

Hi Jyotsna,

 

This seems the issue with the logins.

Try to follow the KB article KB0597574

you will be able to solve it. You will have to modify the config file according to your environment.

Hi Raj,

I followed the KB, but still its not working. MID Server record is not create din ServiceNow but getting below error.

I changed MID Server user password and tried re-installing. The server appears to be up and running and a new KeyPair value has appeared in the config file

I hope you have assigned the mid_server role to the MIDServerDev user.

"The issue record does get automatically cleared once the MID Servers are installed, but the MIDUserConnectivity job that creates and clears this runs only every 4 hours, and so there a time when this error can cause confusion"

I feel it is expected as per KB0957056

 

Change the state of the issue to Resolved and monitor it for a day and see if you have any new MID server issues.
