Hi Raj,

mid_server role was added to MIDServerDev user, issue state is automatically changed to resolved but still MID Server is not created in ServiceNow.

Do you suggest to seek ServiceNow support help or are we missing anything else.

Thanks for your support!

Hi Jyotsna,

I would suggest to wait for a day and then we can check with MID Server logs on MID Server.

Have you validated the MID Server?

If you open the MID Server record, you will find it under Related list(To validate the mid server)

Thanks,

Raj

Hi Raj,

Mid Server record is not created at all. I dont think it will create after a day also, I have been trying from 2 days, everytime MID Server issue will be created and then it will be resolved but no MID Server is created.

Hi Jyotsna,

Your statement "I changed MID Server user password and tried re-installing. The server appears to be up and running and a new KeyPair value has appeared in the config file" was confused.

Now it looks like MID Server is not yet installed.

Let's step back a few steps. Please confirm on below points:

  • Are the network ports open for MID Server in order to communicate with ServiceNow?
  • On which OS version you are trying to install MID Server?
  • As mentioned above, have you tried downloading msi file in a different location?

Thanks,

Raj

Hi Jyotsna,

Were you able to fix the issue? I have one Test windows server. I can test the installation setup with the steps you followed. I can then check if any issue occurs.

Thanks,

Raj
