Update Icon for Bulk catalog items with no icon using script

I need to update the icon for bulk catalog items having no icon using script.

should be possible, but which icon you want to add and from where?

Do you have it on some other catalog item?

I have one icon as .png file which I want to add for multiple catalog items using script. 

I can add the icon to one catalog item if there is a way to copy from one to other catalog items
