User time zone has automatically changed by system.

Hi All,
I have an issue where user time automatically changed from PST to IST.
When i checked the audit on that user record it shows system has changed it automatically.
Can any body tell when the system automatically changes the time zone for a user.
Or if some body impersonates user and change the time that will be captured in audit as system or the person who impersonated him...?
Can anybody brief me on this..?

Hi Nithin,
Couple of things to check . Did AD is connected with the ServiceNow ? I think the user timezone would have been changed because the AD data has been sync with ServiceNow.
Sometimes the timezone would have been changed if the User location has been changed .
Example : US ( EST ) then user location change to India(IST) .

Hi Nithin,
Syed is correct. Check any data sources that are feeding your User (sys_user) table and note if they are importing or setting the timezone. Pay particular attention to the transform map field maps and scripts.
