What happen if new role is added to standard ACL for Fulfiller?

I want to add new role to standard (Out of the box) ACL which is used by only itil and asset role.
Role type of itil and asset role is Fulfiller, so I wonder the role type of the new added role become Fulfiller.
Does anyone know about this?

Hello,

Your question is a bit vague, but essentially, if you're saying you want to create a new custom role, but then alter an ACL which currently gives permission to roles like "itill" to do 'x', you're wondering if your new custom role technically becomes a fulfiller role?

That is more of a license question and should be asked to your SN Account Executive.

Any time you alter out of box permissions to allow roles (custom or otherwise) to do more than it was originally intended, you run the risk of being billed for that new functionality.

With that said, if the new custom role can now be assigned tasks...work tasks...etc. then yes, it's more of a fulfiller defined role and you could be charged.

If it's simply for vision (like a "read" ACL) then this isn't as likely to be billed, but you'd want to seek guidance from your account executive anyway.

Hello Allen,

Thank you for your reply, and I apologize that my question is vague.

I got your opinion. It's so helpful for me because I have no co-workers to discuss this problem.

I think the custom role to create records like itil role will be licensed as Fulfiller, but as for some tables like CMDB the role to create records is licensed just as Requester.

As you said it's a license question, so I should contact to our SN Account Executive.

It's a great help. Thanks.
