What if a reference field shows sys_id instead of records?

I have a reference field in a catalog form. The reference field look upon a table (custom table). The look up lists sys_id instead of records from the custom table. Any reason?

Hi,

You have to moduify the List Layout of the custom table.

Open the custom table list -> Right click -> Configure -> List Layout -> Make changes to the column list as necessary and Save.

EG:

-Anurag

-Anurag

Hi,

Please change the Display Value of your custom table.

Open table defination and check columns tab.

Make at least (Which you want) one column as display=true.

@Pavithra

As mentioned by Anurag you need to modify the list layout of that table when you open the lookup table
