What writes an outbound email to the work notes activity log of the task that triggered the outbound email?
I am attempting to debug why some emails write the a task's work notes activity log while others do not. Specifically, I need to debug why a specific email notification triggered by a custom event doesn't write to an HRSD case into the work notes activity log, even though other emails do. I also want to better understand the process.
