Where do we set the glide.cache.disabled.criteria_cache property to equal True

Alex Woolridge

We are currently setting up a User Criteria based on a field attached to the user profile for Country. This is all working in the first instance but if you change the country against the user, the Service Catalog doesn't update until you clear the cache. There are multiple documents and questions around this but none seem to give the process of fixing this.

We have been advised to set the following properties to true (https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0790108) but it doesn't explain on how or where to do this. Can anyone please advise

  • glide.cache.disabled.USER_ITEMS_CACHE
  • glide.cache.disabled.criteria_cache

Hi Alex

These are system properties, you can set them by going to https://[instance-name].service-now.com/sys_properties_list.do

If those properties don't already exist on your instance, you can hit "new" to create them.

Thanks Mike

I thought this was the case but was wary of adding in before checking. Appreciate the quick response on this

Thanks

HI,

when we try to create this property it gives me this error:

Not allowing set or delete of deny-listed property: glide.cache.disabled.scripted_user_criteria_cache

There is not documentation this error.

Do you know why so?

Thanks
