I'm struggling to find a place that lists which ServiceNow applications these days are included in the base platform price and which applications or application bundles have their own licensing fee. Is there any place to find that information?
More specifically, is the APM module free?

APM is part of the ITBM suite, thus not free.

...
But SOOO worth it.

Also... almost nothing is "free" in ServiceNow. You can think of it more like "which task types cost how much". Everything is *mostly* per user license, so you'd be paying for the value even if there were no application distinctions in SN.
In some modules, such as ITBM, you pay by the levels of capability you need per user. Increasing price for increasing amounts of capability.
In other modules, such as ServiceMapping, you pay by the volume of information you're dealing with.
In other modules, such as HR, you pay by the volume of consumers.
But in ALL cases, ALL the time, your Sales Rep is the supreme authority on what things cost. There's as many price models as there are customers.
EDIT: In *MANY* cases, the different price model per module is incredibly advantageous to the customer. In the olden days it was a flat rate to use any kind of task. ITIL license = $100 / user back in the day. Pricing has matured quite nicely IMHO
